One unit,
heats and cools
Glass lets the sun pour in on a bright afternoon and lets the heat straight back out on a cold night. That’s why so many conservatories in South Yorkshire end up as storage rooms for half the year.
A split air conditioning system fixes both problems. A slim indoor unit sits high on the wall and a compact outdoor unit sits outside. Because modern units work as air-to-air heat pumps, the same system that cools in summer heats efficiently in winter.
Every installation is carried out by our F-Gas certified engineers and priced up front, with supply, installation and commissioning included.

Sized for the glass
A conservatory needs more cooling power than a room of the same floor area with solid walls. We size the unit to your conservatory’s glass and orientation, not just its floor area.
Cheaper heating
A heat pump air conditioner moves heat rather than making it, so it typically gives several units of heat for every unit of electricity. A plug-in heater gives one.
Quiet running
Some of the indoor units we fit run at around 19 to 22 dB(A) on their quietest setting, quieter than a whisper.
Where the outdoor unit goes
Usually on a wall bracket or the ground near the conservatory, positioned to keep noise away from bedrooms and neighbours.

FAQs
Can air conditioning heat a conservatory in winter?
Yes. The split systems we fit work as air-to-air heat pumps, so the same unit heats in winter and cools in summer. For a conservatory, that’s usually far cheaper to run than plug-in electric heaters.
Is a portable air conditioner good enough for a conservatory?
Portable units struggle in conservatories. They’re noisy, need a hose out of a window or door, and rarely have the power to keep up with a glass room on a sunny day. A fixed split system is quieter, more efficient and heats as well as cools.
Do I need planning permission?
Most homes won’t need planning permission for a single outdoor unit, but listed buildings and conservation areas can have extra rules. If either applies to you, check with your council first.
Which areas do you cover?
We fit conservatory air conditioning across South Yorkshire, including Doncaster, Sheffield, Barnsley and Rotherham.
Local air conditioning pages: Doncaster · Sheffield · Barnsley · Rotherham. Why we’re certified: REFCOM.
